So a quick look around the blogosphere tells me loads of people are promoting dealdotcom. Why?

Here’s what I know. Jason Potash, Marc Quarles and Jason Katzenback are the people behind DDC or dealdotcom. Collectively they have created software that has helped lots of people make lots of cash. They have been around for what seems like forever and they are very innovative.

I’ve not met them but I do use some of their products some of the time. When I’ve had a problem they’ve had the support in place to deal with it or help me through it. I can’t say fairer than that.

DDC launches for real on Tuesday 18th of this month and today they opened the doors of the project for a sneak peek. The marketing for the project is quite effective. Sorry make that very effective because there’s a lot more coverage than I expected, once I started delving to see who was saying what.

As I expected everything is very slick and smooth flowing, the sales patter, pitch and process draws you in. The promise of making big money is there but there’s a but for cynical old me. You decide if this is a problem …

With all of these big launches it’s the promise or allure of easy riches that seals the deal. It’s the deal that makes the difference. It’s the deal that makes the profit potential reach out and grab you by the nuts. It’s the bonus and what’s free that squeezes them

Whats the principle behind dealdotcom.com?

Jason Potash & Marc Quarles came up with the smart idea of having a “deal a day” site just for Internet Marketers. Today I saw Kim Standerlines most excellent EasyMemberPro Review at a 50% discount. If I didn’t already have it I’d buy it again at that price. That told me there will be some quality deals available.

If you have a product or service that relates to Internet marketing you can get it promoted at dealdotcom. You have to offer a proper deal which will lower your profit margins but this is offset by the fact you will have a captive niche audience which should reduce your advertising costs. If you’ve got a viral product that needs a lift this might be the place to make it happen.

How Do You Get Paid?

There’s a two tier affiliate program tied to your account.

What’s a two-tier affiliate program? - There’s a really good description of how it all works at the dealdotcom site but the principle is you will get paid a percentage of what gets sold as a result of your promotional activities. What makes it a two tier is you will also get a percentage of the profits based on the efforts of people who sign up under you.

Here’s an example.

I introduce you to the benefits of dealdotcom. You sign up because it’s free you can see the benefit to your better bottom line. You talk to Fred and Gloria and explain how it works to them. Because you explained the benefits of deal dot com to them and they could see that they could make some money, they sign up. Because you introduced them they are on your first tier.

If someone who you help to find the site then goes on to buy something, you get paid a commission. Because you are on my first tier dealdot com also pay me something because I found a smart person like you and you helped sell something for them.

I get paid for my advertising efforts (first tier income) plus I get a small financial thank when your promotion efforts work for you. You are part of my second tier income stream.

So using the example above - your second tier income stream of the two teir strategy comes from Fred and Gloria’s efforts plus others who you show dealdotcom to.

And let’s not forget. Being members we’ll see the better deals before anyone else.

If nothing else the principle is brilliant and these guys have the skills and experience to pull it off.

Do I like the hype and promotion - … I never like hype and not being in a position to actually get inside and see how it all works and what tools there will be to make things easier … means I can’t give it a 100% thumbs up. I can’t even give it 75% but … in principal … I’m happy to tell you about it and suggest you get in early.

It won’t work for everyone but it will work for some. The thing with two tier programmes is to never rely on the second tier. It really is a bonus when it works.

Just as an after thought I found a link that suggest that they picked this domain up after someone didn’t reregister it. Thars gold in them thar domains … and no - dealdotcom wasn’t hacked I was testing a theory and it worked.
